Wes and Tay’s wedding was a total DREAM wedding, Im telling you! A sunrise wedding, I’ll say no more. We started our morning off around 5:30 AM, before sunrise, at the cutest venue in Hendersonville NC. It was totally dark outside while people were scurrying around decorating for the wedding.
How the day started:
We started our day off with Groom and Groomsmen photos, followed by the beautiful Bride and Bridesmaids. Just as the sun was coming up we got this amazing cloud coverage, which in my opinion MADE these photos!
In this sunrise wedding they used tons of greenery and florals. They had church pews and chairs donning the family area. Wes and Tay used a beautiful wooden alter, and on the inside had a huge greenery wreath.
Rather than lighting candles, they planted little trees- but the BEST part was they used soil from each of their previous childhood homes to plant them. Cue the waterworks!
Don’t forget about the reception!
After the sunrise weddingc we headed inside for a “tea room” inspired reception, with the most delicious wedding food. Being this was a sunrise wedding they opted for more of a brunch style menu. They had a cereal bar, homemade DIY waffles with all of the fixins’, livermush, gravy, sausage, and about anything else you can think of!
Tay and Wes had the best donuts around, and a beautiful poundcake from Nothing Bundt Cakes.
After eating, and first dances along with A LOT of cake the guests left, and we headed out to take couples photos in a beautiful field. The view reminded me of a scene from Ireland- So much grass!
Needless to say, I am a huge lover in sunrise weddings. This day was just what I needed to start my 2020 weddings off with a bang!
