Is there a better place to have your bridals taken in than New York City?
How did this New York Bridal come about?
Taylor had a grand idea from the beginning when planning her wedding- she HAD to go to New York City to have bridals made. When she asked me she was like “Would you even be willing to go?” UMMM yes honey! Count me in!
To be honest, it was a breath of fresh air! Getting outside of my normal day in and day out in North Carolina spots, to go to what we call in the south “The Big City”
Let me be clear, this bride was made to have bridals in New York City!
What did we do when we got there?
We had the best time. The four of us, myself, my assistant, the bride and her sister took an early morning flight to New York City. She had her hair and makeup done in North Carolina before we caught our flight.
Once we got there we headed straight to Dumbo for the best view of the Brooklyn Bridge ever! After that we headed to the Manhattan Bridge. As soon as we made it back to being on the Brooklyn Bride, I kid you not it dropped 20 degrees and started SNOWING! It was literally a dream.
Ok, lets be honest you want to hear about the food RIGHT?
We ate at The Butcher’s Daughter more than once. We made our way over to Taco Dumbo for some out of this world tacos! Of course I had to stop by the Disney store in Times Square to grab something for my little girl. We finished the night off with an ice cream float at Serendipity!
In other words, not only did we totally tackle her bridals- but we saw almost the entire city in about 32 hours! Her “New York City inspired Bridals” were to die for. I would do it all over again in a minute!
